在我的家乡，有一位与我的父亲同龄人。他就是全国闻名的身残志坚的农村科技铁人姜德明。他立足农田，孜孜不倦地研究着小麦、棉花如何在家乡的土地上能够有更高的总产量。当他的研究取得了初步成果时，癌症又一次地向他袭来。他没有倒下，拄着拐杖依然风里雨里地留在田头，走访在农户家中。不懈的努力，他培育出的优良品种得到了推广，种植技术得到了普及，粮食总产量大幅度提高，农民的双手欢迎这样的农技员。把他誉为“农技铁人”。他是我们老区青年的好榜样。去年，他在我市青年成人宣誓仪式上谆谆告诫我们，为老区经济的腾飞，要努力学习，掌握科学文化知识，立足本职，捧着一颗心来，不带半根草去!我们记住了这位铁人的话，我们意识到了自己的责任，我们盐阜老区的青年们都会努力的。

五四青年节，是青年人自己的节日，是为了纪念1919年的五四运动而设立的。今天，它已经走过了92年的光辉旅程。五四精神的核心内容为“爱国、进步、民主、科学”。五四精神就是升华了的爱国精神。

然而，随着时代的发展，功利思潮的泛滥，五四精神渐渐淡出有些青年人的视野，退出了有些青年人的记忆。不少青年人甚至连青年节也不知道了。调查数据显示，70%的青年人明确表示没有或不知道半天假，90%的受访者表示基本不过青年节。基于此，一些人发出了当代青年“有青年，无五四”的感慨。

对有些青年人来说，曾经，这节日还不如中国任一传统节日，甚至还不如舶来的情人节、愚人节、狂欢节在青年中更受到追捧。曾经，五四青年节半天假期，在一些地方遭遇落实难的尴尬，多数单位根本不放假。还有的单位，压根不举行五四青年节的庆祝活动。

同时，五四之时，正是有些青年大学毕业之际，他们的精力一度在忙于找工作，忙于生计，忙于名利，忙于考研，忙于公考。他们的关注点不在青年节不在五四精神等精神层面，而更在工作、房子、婚姻等现实性的物质层面。有些青年似乎变得很现实。于是，五四节日在有些人眼里，一度变得似乎没有了任何意义，有些青年人身上澎湃的激情、豪情变成了对世俗名利的专一化角逐。

本该充满朝气、充满向往的有些青年人，现在却迷失在社会的海洋，找不到港湾，找不到方向，唯一的特点就是迷茫。在“务实”的思想下，很多青年人不再追求他们认为的缥缈的所谓理想，没有了信仰。而缺乏了理想和信仰，这正是非常叫人感到可怕的。

“有青年，无五四”，这一现象令人担忧！

五四青年节遭受的冷遇，令人深思。在新的历史条件下，当代青年人应该如何继续弘扬五四精神？我们的口号是：“有青年，有五四”。我们的决心是：“有青年，有五四”。我们的做法是：“有青年，有五四”。做为青年人，敢说敢当，拿得起，放得下，字典中无困难二字，更有立说立行的魄力。

心若在，梦就在。青年在，五四在。“不畏浮云遮望眼”，暂时的迷惘不可怕，走过迷惘，就是坦途，“山重水复疑无路，柳岸花明又一村”。

五四精神的核心是爱国、进步。对如今的年轻人来讲，爱国主义就是：“天下兴亡，匹夫有责”。脚踏实地的奋斗，释放自己的价值，将个人的理想与社会相结合，担负起社会责任和时代责任。

五四精神还有两个关键词是民主、科学。实现民主和科学的途径就是勇于探索、敢于创新、解放思想、实行变革。而科学的实质则是理性的精神、科学的思维、实事求是的态度。今天，社会发展了，青年人也随着时代的变迁发生了改变，但青年肩上承担的民族复兴的重任仍然没有变。

君不见，无论是改革开放的澎湃大潮中，还是科学文化研究的领域内，五四精神无不激荡着广大青年追求进步的情怀，无不展现着广大青年爱国奉献的风采。

君不见，无论是在抗震救灾过程中，还是在社会现代化建设实践中，当代青年无不继承和发扬了五四精神，在危难中冲锋，在平凡中奉献。

君不见，今天，无数青年在五四精神的激励下，做村官，下基层，志在四方，奔赴祖国各地建功立业。

一代又一代有志青年将个人命运融入国家强盛的滚滚洪流，用青春和热血的书写了壮丽的历史篇章。这是时代的主流，这是青年的主流。

与先辈们相比，当代青年成长的环境更为优越，他们能享受更好的物质条件，更多的教育机会，具备更宽广的外部视野。这些好的条件，不应该是忘却五四精神的理由，而恰恰是更好地继承和发扬五四精神的条件。

清华大学百年校庆，国家的领导人寄语青年：“志存高远，脚踏实地，共同为我们伟大祖国、伟大民族更加美好的明天奋斗、奋斗、再奋斗”，成为中国当代青年的共同心声。

让五四精神储存在每一个年轻人的心中，牢固树立正确的世界观、人生观、价值观，坚定理想信念，发扬爱国主义精神，为祖国奉献，为人民服务，把个人成长融入祖国富强、人民幸福的伟大事业之中，让青春的光彩在中华民族伟大复兴中绽放。

1919年5月4日，这是一个注定要被历史记住的日子。这一天，历史的天空划出一道最刺眼的闪电，劈开了黑暗的夜幕，为20世纪的中国照亮了通往光明道路的第一步。

五月，一个属于青年的激情岁月!“铁肩担重任，妙手著文章”，一篇篇激扬的文字携带着自由平等的精神魅力滚滚而来，这文字汇成一股巨大的声响，震醒了沉睡中的巨龙。

1919年1月18日，第一次世界大战的战胜国在巴黎召开“和平会议”。中国以战胜国身分参加和会，提出取消列强在华的各项特权，取消日本帝国主义与袁世凯订立的“二十一条”不平等条约，归还大战期间日本从德国手中夺去的山东各项权利等要求。巴黎和会在帝国主义列强操纵下，不但拒绝中国的要求，而且在对德和约上，明文规定把德国在山东的特权，全部转让给日本。北京政府竟准备在“和约”上签字!在这民族存亡的时刻，北京大学等十三所学校的三千多名学生，冲破军警的重重阻挠到天安门前集会演讲，游行示威，提出“外争主权，内除国贼”、“取消二十一条”、“拒绝和约签字”等口号。虽然有近千学生遭到逮捕，但胜利总是属于正义者，在青年学生的感召下，工人罢工，商人罢市，大力声援北京学生，特别是上海工人，从6月5日起发动了有六七万人参加的政治大罢工;南京、天津、杭州、济南、武汉、九江、芜湖等地工人，也都先后举行罢工和示威游行。北京政府不得不于6月6日释放全部被捕学生，10日宣布“批准”曹、章、陆三人“辞职”，28日，中国代表团拒绝在对德和约上签字。

“五四爱国运动”胜利了!

生命不仅仅是一滴滴的鲜血，它更是渴望燃烧的激情;青春也不仅仅是一声声的赞美，它更是拥有使命并为之奋斗不息的源泉。因为生命的光环，一个个被践踏的躯体赋予了新的灵魂;因为青春的绚丽，一个个飞舞的思绪会聚成一首悲壮的挽歌。

今天，我们是幸运的，沐浴着党的光辉，感受着一浪高过一浪的经济大潮。在物欲横飞争名夺利的驱使下，在追求潇洒的物质享受的刺激下，在灯红酒绿和花花世界的歌舞升平中，或许我们被乱花的溅入迷糊了双眼，或许我们被金钱侵蚀了灵魂，或许我们早已认为满腔激情的历史远矣……，这一切的一切，难道是在珍惜青春、拥抱青春吗?

培根说过：“青春是易逝的，你挥霍它，时间也会抛弃你。”作为新世纪的青年，是我们最先触碰时代的前沿，也是我们，心跳和着民族的脉搏。然而，我们的使命又是什么呢?

中央领导说：“现在，我国进入了全面建设小康社会，加快推进社会主义现代化的新的发展阶段，全国各族人民正在为实现现代化而努力奋斗。到本世纪中叶，基本实现现代化，把我国建设为富强民主文明的社会主义国家，实现中华民族的伟大复兴，这是全国各族人民的奋斗目标，也是当代青年的历史使命和当代青年运动的主题。”

青春是美好的，没有使命感的青春便是贫血的青春。青年是祖国的未来，是民族的希望。在任何一个时代，青年都是社会上最富有朝气最富有创造性、最富有生命力的群体。我们要怎样才能实践自己肩负的历史使命，怎样才能使自己的青春光彩照人呢?

放眼看吧，在我们社会主义现代化建设的征途中，涌现出许许多多的新时代青年的楷模：维护正义的邱娥国，党的好战士高建成，战地英雄许杏虎，海空卫士王伟以及无数的奔赴新闻热点的记者和与病魔作斗争的医务工作者，他们就像大海里的一滴滴水，折射出太阳的光辉。

作为新世纪的大学生，我们要树立远大的理想。人的一生只能享受一次青春，当一个人在年轻时就把自己的人生与人民的事业紧紧相连，他所创造的就是永恒的青春。我们要坚持勤奋学习，立志成才。二十一世纪，信息交流日益广泛，知识更新大大加快。形势逼人自强、催人奋进。我们要跟上时代步伐，更好地为现代化建设贡献力量就必须学习学习再学习，打下坚实的知识功底。在学习中，还要善于创新，善于实践，善于把所学的知识运用到改造主观世界和客观世界的活动中去，不断成才。我们要注重锤炼品德。优良的品德对人的一生至关重要。

大家好！是五月四日是五四运动100周年纪念日。

1919年4月底，眼巴巴企望的巴黎和会并未预想中的“公理”，郁积的亡国之忧、救国之情骤然化作海啸山鸣的五四运动，青年知识分子和青年学生洪流中的先锋。

打破的压制的政治活动。从对外，全国的不许签字对日本让步的和约，并引起美国国会的不批准和约，以至于最后日本不将青岛与胶济路退还于。对内呢，全国学生的联合，青年学子们打破了官厅教职员的尊严，文字上与都放，而文学革命思想革命的潮流，也排山倒海的跟着来了。

在五四运动中，爱国主义是最深厚的精神底蕴。100年前“外争国权，内惩国贼”的怒吼已然淡去，但“振兴”的青春壮歌却一脉相传，回响不绝。

100年来，“爱国、进步、科学、民主”，薪火相传，历久弥新，将五四铸成一枚徽章，戴在挺立时代潮头的青年胸前。

纪念五四运动，目的在于弘扬五四精神，肩负历史使命，要理想，立志报国；要勤奋学习，勇于实践；要在实践中锻炼品格，磨练意志，在学习文化知识的学习做人；要守时守信，做礼貌的公民；既有理想，又要着眼于现实，从身边事、力所能及的事做起；要勇于奉献，在知识时代，需要为追求光明和自由而抛头颅，洒热血，但“我为人人”的奉献精神，仍应弘扬。

有人说，19世纪是英国人的世纪，20世纪是美国人的世纪，而21世纪，人的世纪，几十年来的艰苦建设，已了“乘长风，破万里浪”的迅猛发展，但不要忘记，仍然发展中的，许多地方有待和发展，要想富强，就努力，而期望就寄予在代人身上。抚今追昔，更就应发扬光大“五四”精神，反省“五四”历程。继往开来，依然任重道远。这就应是当代青年学子的使命。正如那句话所说的那样：“革命尚未，同志仍需努力！”让一齐努力！为建设祖国的力量！
