Beijing,along with Paris,Istanbul,Osake and Toronto,has been shortlisted bythe International Olympic Committee as an official candidate city for the 20__Olympic Games.

This is Beijing's second attempt to host the games.

Everyone fully supports Beijing's bid for it.

Maybe,we can paint fences along the main roads of Beijing.

in my 18 years of life, there have been many things. university days arethe best part of them. i can never forget the days when i stepped into myuniversity. i was impressed by its garden-like campus, its enthusiastic studentsand especially its learning atmosphere. i at once fell in love with it.

after the arduous military training, i get absolutely absorbed in mystudies. the classes given by the teachers are excellent. they provide us withinformation not only from our textbooks but from many other sources as easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much as i can.

frankly speaking, at first i had some difficulty following the ver, through my own efforts and thanks to my teachers’ guidance, i maderemarkable progress. now i’ve benefited a lot from lectures and many otheracademic reports.

learning is a long process; i’ll keep exploring in the treasure house ofknowledge to enrich myself. this summer i got out of the ivory tower and enteredthe real world. a publishing house offered me a part-time job in compilation andrevision.

at the beginning i was belittled by my colleagues. but they were reallysurprised when i translated seven english articles over 5,000 words on only oneday. gradually, they began to look at me with respectful eyes. in their opinioni turned out to be a useful and trustworthy colleague.

i also realize that only those who bring happiness for others can be trulyhappy. so i often take part in activities concerning public welfare. i once wentto a barren mountain village with my classmates. we taught the kids there whocould not afford school. while showing them how broad and how civilized theouter world is, i was deeply touched by their eagerness to learn, their honestyand their purity. i couldn’t control my tears on the day when we left. theprecious experience with the poor kids made me aware of the responsibility onthe shoulders of us, future teachers.

besides study and social practice, there are entertainments as well. i dobody building every day, hoping to keep healthy and energetic. we also write aplay and put it on in our spare time.

campus life is the most splendid time. but different people have differentchoices. the majority of students cherish their beautiful season and cherish thehope that one day they’ll become outstanding. but there are indeed some studentsstill under ignorance. they gather together for eating, drinking or playingcards. they’re busy in searching for a girlfriend or a boyfriend. they forgetcompletely about their mission as college students and the hope of theirmotherland.

每每想到这里，我便总有一种莫名的自责。我们虽然不能跟伟人相提并论，但同是祖国的儿子，我也青春正当时，我除了享受没有追求，更没想他人和未来，当然也就更谈不上为祖国、为社会增光添彩。记不清哪一位哲人说过，我绝不仅仅是我，我已经属于我的祖国。可我又为祖国做了些什么?于是，我想在月光送走今夜之前跃入海面，找寻起点，可往往信誓旦旦之后依然脚步未前。

记得父亲曾讲过这样的故事。在30多年前，一个年轻人曾离开故乡，开始寻找自己的前途。少小离家，云山苍茫，心里难免有几分惶恐。于是他在出发前特地拜访本族族长，请求指点。老族长正在临帖练字，见年轻人讨论前程，就随手写了三个字“不要怕”，然后抬起头来，对他说：“人生的秘诀只有六字。我只给你三个字，供你半生受用。”

30年后，这个年轻人已经有了一些成就，当然也添了很多伤心事，归程慢慢，近乡情更怯，他又去拜访那位老族长，可老族长几年前已经过世，家人取出一个信封交给他，说：“这是老人生前留给你的，你自己打开吧!”他慎重地接过来拆开封套，只见里面赫然又是三个大字“不要悔”!

春去秋来又是一个轮回，回首一望恰是十年。十年寒霜苦，但苦中自有乐趣在，每一次的拼搏，每一次的努力，都留下了拼搏求索的过程和人生难忘的记忆!所以有人说不在结果，重在过程。是的，不要怕，不要悔，只要我们努力过了，良心就有安慰!青春虽然短暂，但只要抓住这稍纵即逝的一瞬，总会闪电划破天际的壮丽。

这就是青春本色。这就是无悔的人生。年轻的眼泪不会白流，它会化作前进的动力。年轻人总会激情四溢，看准了目标，选准了方向，义无反顾的走下去，永远不回头。

司汤达的忘却警言和理想，是遭人鄙弃的。我两者都没有卸，我树立了自己的理想，坚信自己就能实现。理想是事业的大门，是登堂入室的旅程，这个旅程的尽头，就有成功在等待着。

每个人都有自己的梦，因为有了梦，才有梦想，有了梦想，才有理想，才有为理想而奋斗的人生经历。雪野茫茫的小草，寒冷孤寂中怀抱着“理想”取暖;征途迢迢南飞的大雁，因为“理想”才不停地往前飞。志向是人生前进的动力，那么理想是期望和梦想的灵魂，奋斗、挣扎、超越，就是打破无知的道路，走向理想的殿堂。

理想，是我们每个人心中的一盏明灯，它能够为我们指出前进的方向。然而，理想也是被需要的一个奋斗目标，但是它需要我们自己来实现。世界万物都有自己的理想，理想是石，敲出星星之火;理想是路，照亮夜航的路;理想是火，点燃熄灭的灯;理想是路，引你走到黎明。

春天，一个多么令人心动的名词——拥有热情，孕育希望。新的生命在春天诞生，新的契机在春天发芽。如果人生被分为四季，那么春天无疑是最年轻的时光，人的青春将由此绽放。对，青春属于春天，青春属于我们!但生命是短暂的，青春同样稍纵即逝，如何让短暂的青春迸发出激烈的火花，我认为，有四样东西不可缺少。

一、拥有自信与勇气。

相信自己，重用自己，用自己的思想为自己打造一片崭新的天地，我们每个人都这样呼唤自己的心智。而实际上，能真正做到以上几点又有几人?自信是画家笔下的一幅画，有几处妙笔请你来描画，又有几处败笔请你来勾画，同样是一幅画，有人认为妙笔无处不在，有人认为败笔处处皆是。画家的实验证明：自信是是一朵孤芳自赏的花。如果富有哲理的话还不能使你变得自信，那就试试学会藐视。人生在世，你总得藐视点什么东西。否则，看什么都伟大，见什么都敬畏，处处低眉顺眼，事实谨小慎微，那就活的可怜巴巴了，说一句狠话，你白活了!藐视就是轻视、小看。据说牛的眼睛看东西是放大的，所以在比自己小得多的牧童面前也俯首帖耳;鹅的眼睛看东西是缩小的，因而敢于向比自己大得多的人发起进攻。我不敢提倡大家都用像鹅那样看东西，但时不时藐视点什么是否可以提高你的自信心。

二、拥有理想。

曾经有一句话：一个人16岁没有理想，一个人60岁还有理想，都是可怕的事情。后半句未必对，60岁的人为什么不可以拥有理想?但前半句一定正确，缺少理想的烛照，生命一定暗淡无光。对许多人而言，理想是青少年时代的办生物。随着年龄的增长，阅历的增加，理想慢慢风化了，剥蚀了，或者被实际的、实在的、实惠的欲望所替代。当现实的闷棍不由分说地打来，最乖巧的应对或许就是放弃吧——放弃曾经的追索，放弃曾经的执着。在灰暗的天空下沮丧的低头，说“我认输了”，或者说，我答应用手中的钻石“交换你递过来的玻璃。”在我看来，理想好比一件可以用来御寒的衣服。人生拥有了这件衣服，就不至于在凄风苦雨中瑟瑟发抖。如果说成长是一辈子的事，那么，理想也应该相伴人生每一天。理想活着，痛苦就有了慷慨的分担者。好的理想像爱情，温暖寒苦的人生;像信仰，烛照暗淡的青春。

三、收获成功

有人说，成功好难。但我告诉你，成功只需一小时。美国曾对一百多名社会名流的成功经历进行调查，他们从中发现一个令人吃惊，也是极其简单的结论：这些成功者只是每天多用一小时的时间做其他事情。二战期间，美国总统，罗斯福精力十分旺盛，许多人都认为他是休息得好，还有人认为他是用了营养品，但事实是，罗斯福每天都花一小时，把自己关在屋子里玩邮票。世界织布业的巨头维尔福莱日理万机，他在中年以后却成为一名出色的油画家。原因是，他每天早起一个小时来画画，一直画到吃早饭为止。十多年后，他的油画有几百幅被人以高价买走。一个人，只要每天肯花一个小时来做点有意义的事，不管是否与工作有关，他们都可以造就辉煌，时间不必太多，每天一小时就够了。请问，一个青春中有多少个一小时?答案我想你心中自有数。

因此，正是这人生最美好的青春时节，才需要去奋斗，而我们只能做的就是努力学习，所以，我们就要围着一个目标而拼搏奋斗，积极进取，“苦尽甘来尽是甜”，而当我们真正奋斗过之后，回来的正是一个满意的答复，从中也享受到了各个科目的乐趣，语文的优美、数学的神奇、地理的壮美……一种奋斗后的甜蜜感觉顿时涌上心头，真所谓是“功夫不负有心人啊!”

平平淡淡是才是最真，说到底不就是自甘平庸、自甘无为吗?曾几何时，我们这些带着中学彩色梦走进大学校门的莘莘学子们也在高喊着：平平淡淡是最真。且有人认为只要“与世无争，恬淡一生”便可无忧无虑地生存，颇有要把老庄的“无为”思想发扬广大之势。是什么使我们丰富的校园生活渐退了缤纷的色彩呢?又是什么使我们真实的熔浆凝固，不在有来自内心深处的热血沸腾?是因为我们没有走进梦想中的象牙塔?是因为我们未走出自我困惑的地带?还是因为我们的心真的不在年轻，确实把一切都看得平淡了呢?不!都不是!主宰世界的是你，放弃世界的仍然是你。

生活得最好的人，不是寿命最长的人，而是最能感受生活的人。除了你没有走进理想的大学，除了你没有把握住一次几乎成功的爱情，除了你心中那份虚荣于倨傲，你对生活究竟有多少正确的感受?生活究竟给过你多少真正的重荷于不平呢?没有!只因为在当代的中国，在我们这个文盲、半文盲数以亿计的国度里，大学生既被社会过高的期待，也过高地期待着社会，只因为我们不能正确地估计自己，也不能正确认识社会。那种求平淡的心态，仍是不思进取的借口。于是，你曾经也想要有所作为，却不知道从何做起，跟着感觉走，在各种诱惑面前远离本真状态，被泥沙俱下的时代大潮裹挟着四处漂流。当你疲倦地走过无数个三百六十五里，你才发现留在身后的除了那份平淡，什么也没有。

不再回头的，不只是那古老的辰光，也不只是那些个夜晚的星群和月亮，还有我们的青春在流逝着。四年，我们有幸拥有着这四年，但多少人的四年已一去不返;更还有多少人在为能拥有这四年而埋头于题海和各种各样的模拟考试中呢、当初我们从他们这种状况中走出来，走进许多人梦寐以求的大学，难道就是为了追求“平平淡淡是最真”吗?

在我们四年的每个日子里，倾注了亲人的多少关怀和温暖，他们流淌着辛勤的血汗，默默地支持着子女的选择，他们惟一的希望就是我们能自己走自己的人生之路。还有，在许许多多的眸子里时时刻刻地流露着对我们的期待，期待我们能用知识建构大脑、用我们的手去为人们描写更美的生活。在亲人面前，在那些关注我们的人的面前，我们又有什么理由去认为“平平淡淡是最真”呢?难道我们付出我们的金色年华，挥洒着父母的血汗仅仅是为了换取这份平平淡淡吗?仅仅是为了换取一张各科都过了60分的毕业证吗?小到为了每个家庭的付出，大到为了那如水流逝的时光，我们怎么就可以轻易认同“平平淡淡”才是真呢?

最欣赏把撒哈拉沙漠变成人们心中的绿洲的三毛，也最欣赏她一句话：即使不成功，也不至于成为空白。成功女神并不垂青所有的人，但所有参与、尝试过的人，即使没有成功，他们的世界却不是一份平淡，不是一片空白。记得有一天和班上几个新近参加美术班学习的女生谈起了她们学习美术以后的感觉和收获。她们告诉我：并没有什么大飞跃，但确实已学会了怎样用心去观察一个事物。也许她们永远成为不了画家，但是我赞叹她们的这份参与意识和尝试勇气。我想告诉她们：即使你们不成功，你们也没有成为空白。

说到这里有人会说：我的确平凡得很，无一技之长，不会唱不会跳，更不会吟诗作画，注定这四年就这么平淡了。世上不过只有一个天才贝多芬，也不过是只有一个神童莫扎特，更多的人是通过尝试，通过毅力化平淡为辉煌的。毅力在效果上有时能同天才相比。有一句俗语说，能登上金字塔的生物只有两种：鹰和蜗牛。虽然我们不能人人都像雄鹰一样一飞冲天，但我们至少可以像蜗牛那样凭着自己的耐力默默前行。

不要再为落叶伤感，为春雨掉泪;也不要满不在乎地挥退夏日的艳阳，让残冬的雪来装饰自己的面纱;岁月可使皮肤起皱，而失去热情，则使灵魂起皱。

拿出我们尝试的勇气，拿出我们青春的热情，大学四年毕业时，再回首，我们没有平淡、遗憾的青春。让我们的青春飞扬吧。

青春，是我们一生中最美丽的季节，她孕育着早春的生机，展现着盛夏的热烈，暗藏着金秋的硕实，昭示着寒冬的希望，充满诗意而不缺乏拼搏的激情，时尚浪漫而又饱含着奋斗的艰辛。当一个人的青春融汇到一个时代、一份事业中，这样的青春就不会远去，而这份事业也必将在岁月的历练中折射出耀眼的光芒。

这则故事告诉我们：每个人都要珍惜青春，因为，青春逝去就不再回来了，等到你后悔的时候，已经无法挽回。

每个人都经历过青春，相信在你的青春中也有那么一段令你值得回忆的。但是，你是否可以毫不犹豫的说：我没有辜负青春!我想那并不是一件简单的事。如今，我们的青春就在眼前。那么，处在这黄金时代的我们，该怎么办呢?是随波逐流，得过且过，还是争分夺秒开拓奋进?我想，只要稍有头脑的人，谁都会选择后者。诚然，人生能有几回搏?也许有人会这样想：花有重开日，人无再少年。此生难得有这个好机会，何不无牵无挂地快乐一阵子，来个“今朝有酒今朝醉”呢。然而，你可想过：一失足成千古恨，再回头已百年身。奥斯特洛夫斯基的《钢铁是怎样炼成的》这部名着中有这么一段话：生活赋予我们一种巨大的和无限高贵的礼品，这就是青春：充满着力量，充满着期待、志愿，充满着求知和斗争的志向，充满着希望和信心的青春。

青春犹如繁星烁烁，瞧!它正诉说着一个动人的故事：一九九八年，中国发生一场非同寻常的战斗——自然与人类的战斗!在战斗中，人民的子弟兵——被誉为最可爱的人，他们大多处于如花似锦的青春时代，为了祖国人民，他们奋不顾身、毫不犹豫地将人生最宝贵的生命奉献给人民，使青春焕发异样的光彩。

当然，他们的青春是短暂的，是值得赞美的。我们也为此更加了解青春的珍贵。正如北宋文学家欧阳修说过：“羡子年少正得路，有如扶桑初日升。”既然他们为了祖国的诞生可以在所不惜地抛弃一切，可以义无反顾地牺牲青春，而我们，只是在幸福年代接过建设者的任务，贡献自己的微薄之力，又有什么理由可以蹉跎岁月呢?

人人都知道：迷人的彩虹出自大雨的洗礼，丰硕的果实来自辛勤的耕耘。朋友，今天我们正处在优胜劣汰竞争激烈的时代，前有师长掌航，后有父母加油，可谓“天时地利人和”。我们必须像海绵吸水一样，在学习上永不知足。面对挑战，我们怎能被一些挫折和失败所吓倒呢?让我们好好地把握住青春，学那穿云破雾的海燕去搏击八方的风雨;学那高大挺拔的青松去经霜傲雪。只有如此，才能在你的青春史上谱下无怨无悔的一页。

同学们，我们既被称为朝阳，就理应拥有光彩照人的青春。青春，短暂而珍贵。请爱惜青春吧，别让它过早流逝;为它自豪吧，切不要虚度光阴，它毕竟是我们一生中最光辉的时刻!
