Every one of us,rich or poor,should at least have one or two good friends will listen to me when I want to speak,will wipe my eyes when I cry,will take care of me when I am sick,and my friends will go together with me side by side through this journey of life.

As students,we could share more time with our friendship in our young hearts is pure,fresh and simple.I often feel very lucky to have a lot of good cially when I had Justin as one of my best in was my English teacher from the USA.I met him in 1996 when I was a student who could only speak very little in was a vivid young man with a bright smile on his face,and he always had his special way to make the class active and taught us English by telling stories,playing games,singing songs,and even dancing.I could still remember very clearly that one afternoon when we fin-ished our class,we went to some other classes to sing songs for them,just like what people do in the states on Christmas was so interesting and in was an excellent teacher,because he taught us not only how to study English well,but also the way to find out the beauty of the world and the way to be angels to others' lives.I know there was friendship and pure love in our ng this valuable emotion neither nationality nor age was important,the real importance lay in faith,under-standing,and in is the best friend I have ever had,and I know I will cherish those days of staying together with him as the best part of my memory.

Friendship is a kind of treasure in our is actually like a bottle of wine,the longer it is kept,the sweeter it will is also like a cup of we are thirsty,it will be our best choice,but when we have enough time to enjoy ourselves,it is also the most fragrant drink.

Honourable judges, ladies and gentlemen, Good afternoon! Today I would liketo talk about the importance of keeping optimistic. When we encounterdifficulties in life, we notice that some of us choose to bury their heads inthe sand. Unfortunately, however, this attitude will do you no good, because ifyou will have no courage even to face them, how can you conquer them? Thus, beoptimistic, ladies and gentlemen, as it can give you confidence and help you seeyourself through the hard times, just as Winston Churchill once said, “Anoptimist sees an opportunity in every calamity; a pessimist sees a calamity inevery opportunity.”

Ladies and Gentlemen, keeping optimistic, you will be able to realize, inspite of some hardship, there’s always hope waiting for you, which will lead youto the ultimate success. Historically as well as currently, there are too manyoptimists of this kind to enumerate. You see, Thomas Edison is optimistic; ifnot, the light of hope in his heart could not illuminate the whole world. AlfredNobel is optimistic; if not, the explosives and the prestigious Nobel Prizewould not have come into being. And Lance Armstrong is also optimistic; if not,the devil of cancer would have devoured his life and the world would not see a5-time winner of the Tour De France. A rose may be beautiful, or maybe not; thatdepends on your attitude only, and so does success, so does life. Hindrances anddifficulties do exist, but if you are optimistic, then they are only episodes onyour long way to the throne of success; they are more bridges than obstacles!Now I prefer to end my speech with the great British poet Shelley’s lines: “Ifwinter comes, can spring be far behind? I agree with it. As a student, I should say, university shouldn't cut off electricity at dormitory at night. The original intention for university to cut off electricity is to ensure our rest for some students will stay up very late if there is nothing to limit them. However, these students are minority. Most students have regular timetable. What more, we are now already in university, I think we should be treated like high school students any longer. Especially in summer hot days, no electricity at night would be a nightmare to all students. We can't fall asleep without electric fans. I can't just imagine that. Universities should think more for their students and trust their self-control.

Working together, Boeing and its suppliers have done some amazing things in past couple of years. But the best years, without a doubt, are still before us.

Imagine a car company or any other major industrial concern that was forced to cut production by more than 50% in a three-year period. Yet that happened to our commercial airplane business, and we have managed the remarkable feat of staying profitable and continuing to invest in the future. Now air traffic has returned to pre 9/11 levels, and we are looking forward to what we hope and expect to be a period of sustained and gradual growth. Long term, this is a great growth market. Over seven decades, the growth in air traffic has outpaced the world's economic growth by a factor of about 1.5-to-1. The line of demarcation between Boeing and Airbus is clearly drawn, both strategically and culturally, and we like our prospects. We think the Boeing 7E7 is right product at the right time - and the biggest the game-changer in civil aviation since the 707 at the dawn of the jet age. More than that, we think that our approach - with its emphasis on lean global enterprise - gives us a flexibility that Airbus lacks.

I'm the one who is doing all the work, so we just want you to stay cool for a minute.

However, I think we're going to do it, and I think that we must pay what needs to be paid. I don't think we ought to waste any money, but I think we ought to do the job. And this will be done in the decade of the Sixties. It may be done while some of you are still here at school at this college and university. It will be done during the terms of office of some of the people who sit here on this platform. But it will be done. And it will be done before the end of this decade.
