That was the first time that I celebated Christmas Day. My friend aksed me to take part in Christmas party. At the party we danced and celebrated with carols. I knew some new friends. We exchanged gifts and said best wishes to each other. I had a pleasant time.

I think there are the following reasons that make Christmas popular in China. First, it’s a western holiday and it’s new to Chinese. Second, with the development of the world, the mutual influence between China and the west makes it work. Last, the merchants make great contribution to its popularity.

Today is Christmas Day. It’s a western holiday, but it’s popular in our country, too. Today, our English teacher buys chocolates to us. They are very sweet. And then, she teaches us a song, Jingle Bell. It’s a lovely song and easy to sing. We learn it quickly. At night, my mother cooks some delicious western food. I love this Christmas Day。
